Our Mission

Mid-Hudson Misfits Roller Derby, Inc. was founded in 2012 to provide an open and inclusive environment in which all women in the Mid-Hudson Valley region with the desire to learn and play flat track roller derby are able to do so.

As a not-for-profit organization, Mid-Hudson Misfits Roller Derby, Inc. is dedicated to:
  • the development of its skaters as athletes capable of national and international roller derby competition,
  • the promotion of the sport of flat track roller derby in the area, and
  • giving back to the community by working closely with local not-for-profit and charitable organizations.
